Why I love Photography
Why I love photography? Because I can see a picture of my mom and not just remember her, but actually see her. See her face the way she was at the moment the photons were captured on the photosensitive film. To see her holding me with a love that a mother has for her child. To take me back to an event that actually happened and has passed. That if it weren’t for the photograph would only exist as a fuzzy memory; a memory with vague color, shapes, and faces. But there she is: the way she was at that exact moment from the past. Captured on photographic paper for me to verify and update my memories of a person I love.
That is why I love photogrpahy.
